Abare bones@ response which contains an adequate but superficial discussion. Essay tends to be descriptive rather than analytical. References are made that pertain to the question but these may be scanty, some inaccurately translated, or not optimally chosen and/or unevenly discussed. Or, there is a good discussion of several of the questions but not all. A few SWIMTAG items are used when appropriate to support the discussion.6: An excellent, well-organized essay which includes a convincing discussion of the topic by making use of references from the text. The discussion contains liberal use of specific, appropriate references from the Latin test, with accurate translation or paraphrase, which support the analysis.
