COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At
the end of the course the student will consistently PRONOUNCE sounds and words
correctly. They will understand
VOCABULARY, GRAMMAR and SYNTAX appropriate to their level in order to use it in
practical communication aurally, orally, and in writing.
They will expand VERB KNOWLEDGE into several tenses.
The
student will be able to identify countries where Spanish is spoken and the
cultural characteristics that come from geographical influence.
The student will gain an understanding of some key differences in
Hispanic culture and our culture here in East Tennessee.
